Eliza Miller was born in Leeds in 1826. From the age of 10 she lived with the Reynolds family at 25 Midland Road, Leeds, as a General Servant Domestic. She never married and lived with the family until 11 September 1901 when she died at the age of 75 years. She left a Will saying she lived at 25 Midland Road, Hyde Park, Leeds, a Spinster, leaving Mary Ann Reynolds, also a Spinster, a sum of £210.13s.10d. When she died they placed her in the Reynolds family grave, the headstone stating:
'For 63y faithful nurse and valued friend of the family.
Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord'
