Notes:

Elizabeth Lundy (nee Newbould) was an Inn Keeper.  She was born in 1818 in Sheffield, married Frederick Mason, no Marriage Certificate can be found.  He was a Carver & Guilder.  At least three children were born in this marriage:-


Frederick Joseph born 1838, Sheffield, married Ann Lawler in 1857 (see Marriage Certificate below).  His occupation was Carter & Guilder like his father.


George Henry, born 1840, Leeds, died 1846


Ann Elizabeth, born 1844, Leeds


Frances, born 1846 Leeds, married William Thompson, 1864 (see Marriage Certificate below).


Frederick Mason died 1850 at 35 years and is buried in a common grave, with headstone number 2385.  George Henry died in 1846.


In 1851 Elizabeth and her three children were living at 45 Burmantofts (Street) and had two lodgers who were in the printing trade.


In 1857 she married Henry Lundy, he was born in Malton, North Yorkshire.  Together they ran Queen Inn, 36 Templar Street, Leeds from at least 1861 to 1870.  He was a Beer Keeper and Letterpress printer/compositor on the 1861 Census and had three boarders and a house servant.


Elizabeth died 28 July 1870, age 53, at the Queen Inn, Templar Street, Leeds.


She is buried with her second husband Henry Lundy, daughter Frances, Frances's husband and two granddaughters.
