Whilst doing this research I was saddened as I read the Memorial Inscription of Ann Fowweather/Fairweather who drowned in 1874 along with her son Arthur, she was 35yrs he was 6½. Her husband James was a Boatman and they lived in Bowman Lane, Leeds. She left a husband and daughter aged 5. Only three years earlier another daughter had died aged 1yr 10mths. It is interesting to note that James remarried in 1876 to Ann's sister Louisa.
